COVID-19 Update

Public Gatherings

Each week at UPBC we offer two opportunities to gather on campus for corporate worship. One of those opportunities is a mask recommended service in the Main Hall. The second will be a mask required gathering in the Fellowship Hall, where a live-stream of the service will be provided. In the mask recommended gathering, we ask that you wear a mask during the service if you are able to do so, unless prevented by medical need or matter of conscience. Please make sure to park near the entrance of the gathering you are attending, to allow others easier access.

On the first Sunday of each month our service in the Main Hall is a mask required gathering. On this Sunday we provide a “mask recommended” service in the Fellowship Hall, where a live-stream of the service will be provided.

Childcare

Childcare will be available for children ages 0-3, and Children's Church will be available for children ages 4 through 4th grade.

Viewing at Home

For those of you who are not yet ready to attend in person, we will be live-streaming the entire service on our YouTube channel. You will be able to join us virtually at 10:30 am by visiting our YouTube channel at this link.

More Info

If you have any other questions or concerns about coming back to corporate worship, please reach out to us below.

We know that the process of coming back together will be an incremental one, and we are encouraging every family to pray about the right time to join us. We are praying with you!

My First Visit

We recognize that we can’t convey every detail that occurs on Sunday mornings at our church, but we hope this gives you a helpful summary of what you can expect on any given Sunday at University Park Baptist Church.

Please see our Covid-19 info to get the latest updates on gathering information.

Sunday school classes begin at 9:30am. Classes are offered for adults and children and are currently being held in the Fellowship Hall.

Our worship service begins at 10:30 AM. Our service is made up of songs (a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs), Old and New Testament readings, prayers, and a sermon. We typically preach through entire books of the Bible in an expositional manner. Our hope is that each service is Spirit-led, God-centered, and Christ-exalting.

During the service you are welcome to keep your children with you or take advantage of our nursery for children 3 & under. We also offer “Children’s Church” for children between age 4 to grade 4 during the sermon. We leave the decision to the parents on whether or not they utilize these ministries.

We don’t have a dress code and invite you to dress comfortably. Some of our folks will be dressed in slacks/dress shirts and dresses and others will be dressed in jeans and tennis shoes.

Thank you for stopping by our website and we hope you join us for worship on Sunday mornings. At University Park Baptist Church you won’t find the perfect church and you won’t find perfect people, but our hope is that you will find a healthy church filled with genuine followers of Christ seeking to grow together in godliness as we worship the one true King.
